After I launched my first blog, I became so involved in writing.
I used to sit in front of the computer and write for hours together.
Blogging is not as easy now as it was earlier. It’s not like a cup of cake to the walkthrough.
Sometimes, I feel like I lost my mojo for writing and there seems to be something that blocks it.
I overcame it through some easy steps. If you have the same writer’s block, you can come to the right place. In this post, you will see some simple ways to beat writers block.
You might have wandered around to find some possible solutions to stop your mind from being distracted.
You might feel the urge to write but when you start writing, you go blank. I’ve experienced this quite a time and for good, I’m out of this terrible situation. But, there are many bloggers who simply sit blankly without any ideas.
There are many common solutions found all around the internet sphere but it doesn’t seem working for all and so I’ve come up with some effective tips to beat writer’s block.
I assure you that these tips would surely help you to beat Writer’s Block.
I’ve personally tried these methods and even suggested these tips to many of my buddies who found these as a quick remedy to beat writer’s block.
P.S – At the instance, these might not work for you because you and I have different mindsets and habits.
Well, anyway do try these methods and see if it’s working for you. After all, there’s no harm in trying.
Wave with Social Media
Social media can create a great effect. But I know, it steals your quality time. But if you can manage with your time then it can do miracles.
Just make sure you make perfect timing for it because it is a time killer and can kill your time if not properly used.
Well, I’ll suggest you turn your chat offline.
You know why?
Reading is one of the best habits. Many successful Entrepreneurs read a lot of books.
Whenever you feel bored, read books. It can either be an ebook or hard copy.
Make a call to your Friends and fellow Bloggers
A very commonly used method. Yes, engagement! Have a nap and talk to your friends and discuss your interests and have some fun.
Do Yoga and meditation
Yes, you heard it correctly.
Do it at least for an hour daily to overcome anxiety. It will fresh up both your mind and body. This is one of the best ways to beat writers block.
If you’re not on a deadline, having several different creative endeavors that you’re working on can help you get unstuck.
If one project stops clicking, simply switch to another until you get your momentum back. Either way, you’ll be making progress.
Remodel your blog
Get a new logo for your blog. Buy a new theme and customize it as per your wish.
Make use of your hobbies
This is something most people do. I love dancing, playing, reading and a lot more.
When I’m stuck with writer’s block, I usually raise my speaker volume and start dancing, I love dancing a lot.
Reading can also create magic.
Get some inspirational and motivational books or a book that can bring you to a different world. Also, spend quality time researching your blog niche.
Playing is yet another idea but since it requires a lot of energy I don’t consider it very much.
I usually love playing outdoor games and not indoor.
Never try playing computer games or PlayStation because it can influence you so much and can make you lazy.
Well, that doesn’t work for me. But, it might work for you because we think differently 🙂
Help a Newbie
Helping others is always good.
There are many newbies who need help. Help a newbie to set up his blog and teach some earn money.
They will be thankful for you forever.
Update your old posts
Go to lists post and evergreen posts and update them.
