Use SEO-friendly URLs

Search engines find your links or contents through crawlers and while searching, The crawlers take only search engine-friendly URLs of your Blog’s Posts or Pages for showing results in search engines on the first page.

It is a highly recommended step to use while working on any post or page.

The short URLs perform better in SERPs. You should follow these points while making URLs:

1. Use the main Keyword like this: onlinedecoded.com/on-page-seo
2. Don’t go with this kind of URL: onlinedecoded.com/p=34/keyword

Place Main Keyword First In The Title

We all know that this is the first thing that will explain to your readers what on which topic this article is about and it is the top line on SERPs.

Your Title tag is the topmost important factor of On-Page SEO for your site. In the blog/website, each of your Posts and Pages should have its own unique, easy-to-understand, and catchy title.

Pro Tip: Search Engines love Titles that contain the main Keyword First.

For Example, You can find the main keyword “On-Page SEO techniques” at the start of the post title.

SEO-Friendly Images: Use Relevant And SEO friendly Multimedia

Images and Videos are always done a great job in terms of SEO.

If you use great-looking, relevant, and SEO-friendly images & videos within the content then it’s the best way to make your site more appealing visually

And because of this change, your readers never feel bored at the time of reading your blog content.

The image should be optimized to improve your blog SEO, so for that treat your images as your main article.

For example, give them the main keyword in the TitleAlt Tag, and Descriptions.

If you use the main keyword in the ALT tag in images then Google Images results can give you traffic and a high rank.

Make sure to implement three main things for SEO-friendly images:
•    The file name should include the target keyword (for example, social_media_marketing.jpg).
•    Put the target keyword in ALT Tag.
•    Use the target keyword in the Title.

Outbound Links are links to another site you want to add an article from Wikipedia, so you put the Wikipedia article URL in your desired keyword.

When you link something relevant to your article then it’s not only good for your blog even it also helps search engines understand your blog niche.

This is the main part of white hat SEO and I would like to remind you Google and other search engines love White Hat SEO.

Outbound links help Google to understand your blog’s topic. Google also gives priority to those sites that use outbound links.

Use Your Main Keyword In the First Paragraph

This is also a new On-Page SEO Technique for me which I learned while researching techniques for this post.

I promised myself that I will share this great technique with my audience so they can also know in which place our main keyword did the best job.

So here is the technique, put your main keyword in the top 150 words of the post.

Use Headlines Tags (H1, H2, and H3….H6)

At the time of writing articles, you should use body heading tags for different paragraphs from each other and it will help readers to read the text easily.

Most of the time or you can say generally because an H1 tag is the main tag in headings so we should use it for the main title.

It helps search engines determine your title and paragraph headings to show in SERPs. Learn More about heading tags here.

Make sure to use these heading tags in your content because it gives your content richness and it will help search engine crawlers to differentiate what is relevant to the search query so crawlers can take your blog link to top results in Google.

Meta Description

Meta Description is a very important part of on-page SEO factors.

It is an HTML attribute that explains the summary of content in SERPs. Meta Descriptions are used for search result pages (SERPs).

Meta Descriptions had done a very important role in white hat SEO.

You can write any amount of words in Meta Descriptions but search engines give us a limit and that is 160 characters.

It should be under 150-160 characters otherwise, your Meta descriptions are useless.

As I already mentioned in this article that the main keyword should be used on top of everything so this technique is also applied in Meta description.

Put your main keyword in the first 5 characters of the Meta description summary, it will help your blog to place on top of results.

I personally use the Yoast SEO plugin for a better Meta description.

It will give you separate sections for writing Meta descriptions and many more.

I recommend you to use this plugin if you are using WordPress and if you have an HTML-based website then you can write Meta descriptions in HTML format that look like this <meta name=” description” content=” Put your description here”>.

Publish Long Content

I am talking about this because of some top companies. They found that 1500+ words articles rank higher in Google.

My Tip

Include as much information as possible in your article for readers so they can learn everything from your article.

Make sure that they don’t need any other article for that particular query that they search for. Write at least 2K+ words with main keywords.

Put Latent Semantic Indexing Keywords (LSI) In the Article

LSI stands for (Latent Semantic Indexing). These are those keywords that are commonly relevant to your main keyword. If you were writing your article about “Chinese Food” it is possible you use words like “Spicy”“Chinese Cuisine” etc. Those are LSI keywords.

Google loves those keywords which are matching your article topic and Google finalizes your article as a quality article. It is very easy to find LSI keywords for your main keyword.

Just type your main keyword in the Google search bar and scroll down to the bottom and check all “Search Related To…” those keywords are LSI keywords and you can use any two of them in your article.
